This week we talking about the University of Kentucky where Mr. Hughes earned his Bachelors in Biology and Masters in Secondary Education. The University of Kentucky is in Lexington Kentucky. Mr. Hughes most memorable academic experience was in his Microbiology class, where he was given a test tube with 3 types of bacteria in it and he had all semester to use what he had learned in class to figure out what was in the tube. Interesting fact about UK Thomas Hunt Morgan, the father of modern genetics and Nobel Prize winner, attended the University of Kentucky.

We want to thank the guest teachers who are here today, substituting in various classes.

Thank you to:

Ms. Ibsen Ms. Lockwood Ms. Homan Mr. Crowe Ms. Brown
