Nominations Are Open

Will you have a student at RMS in the fall? Do you have an hour a week to support, engage and advocate for our students, staff and community? 

Your RMS PTSA nominating committee is currently seeking volunteers interested in joining the PTSA leadership team for the 2019-2020 school year. RMS PTSA members are eligible to become board members and will be elected at the PTSA General Meeting on April 16. Consider one of the following positions.

• President - Oversees the board and chair positions, hosts monthly meetings, and communicates with teachers and parents. Commitment of ~1hr/week + monthly meeting(s). 
• Treasurer - Maintains management of PTA funds and bank accounts. Pays bills, receives and disburses all monies as voted upon by the general membership. Great role for a math geek! ~2hrs+/week. 
• 1st VP - Assists in one or more roles working directly with the PTSA President. ~1hr/week.
• 2nd VP - Assists in one or more roles working directly with the PTSA President. ~1hr/week.
• Secretary - Are you good at taking notes? Love buying office supplies? The Secretary takes official meeting minutes and stores records for the PTSA. <1hr/week.
