Having good male role models engaged in a student's education has a positive impact on academic success. The PTA Men's Essay Competition gives students a chance to write an essay about why the man/men in their lives are important. 

Students are encouraged to write an essay on a man who has made a positive impact on their lives be it their, brother, uncle, clergy, teacher, coach, stepfather, grandfather, mentor or another man that has contributed to their well-being. Essay are to be submitted by March 1, 2018.
