  • “Words Have Power.” This is the theme for the American Library Association’s acknowledgement of Banned Books Week. In the library, we celebrate the freedom to read and the freedom to choose what to read. Come to the library all week to see and check out some commonly challenged and banned books! Exercise your Freedom to Read.
  • If you love reading and shopping for books. . .or if you want to choose books for the RMS library. . .the Student Purchasing Committee is for you! Bring your lunch to the library for an informational meeting about what the Student Purchasing Committee is and what we will be doing this year!
  • Are you interested in forming a club at RMS? Clubs are a great way to meet new people who share the same interests as you. Clubs are a fun, relaxed way to meet new people at school and to spend time doing something you love. Did you know that the clubs at RMS are all student crated and run? If you are interested in forming a club, pick up a club’s information packet at the student services window. The packet will give you all the information you need to start your own club.   • Attention current Honor Society members: We will be having an informational meeting tomorrow (today) Friday the 29th during PACE in the commons. Be sure to attend for important information about NJHS this year. This meeting is only for CURRENT inducted 8th grade Honor Society members.
