  • Who’s your champion? Have you checked out the new board in the great hall? On it, teachers recorded someone in their life who has been their champion. Someone who has made a difference in their lives. We invite all of you to tell us about your champions. Check out the bulletin board in the great hall to read about your teachers, then, take your own card. Fill it out, and return it in the return envelope right on the board. Returned forms will be displayed on the same board. We can’t wait to hear about your champions!
  • Do you know what Battle of the Books is? Maybe you like reading and you like competition. Bring your lunch to the library Tuesday for an informational meeting and to pick up the permission form. Come check it out and see if it you want to participate!
  • “Words Have Power.” This is the theme for the American Library Association’s acknowledgement of Banned Books Week. In the library, we celebrate the freedom to read and the freedom to choose what to read. Come to the library all week to see and check out some commonly challenged and banned books! Exercise your Freedom to Read!
