• Attention current Honor Society members. Please be sure to sign and return your membership letter to Ms. Morris or the hours submission box in student services by Friday, Oct 6th. All membership dues should be paid at the ASB office. If you are applying for an officer position: quick info forms are due Friday Oct 6th and applications are due Friday, Oct 13th. Please see Ms. Morris with questions.
  •  RMS second season athletes, Basketball will begin the last week of October which means that all athletes need to be cleared with everything by October 19th. If you have any questions see either Mr. Mahendran in portable #1 or Ms. Poblete in the Attendance Office.
  •  Do you have an Emergency Notification form in your backpack or binder that your parents asked you to turn in? If so, please drop it off at the Student Services Office today.
  •  Are you wanting a quiet place to do homework or get extra help? Study lab is now open in the library after school from 2:20 – 3:30 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. You must have your own transportation.
  •  Are you an 8th grader interested in competing in National History Day? All students interested in competing in NHD must attend NHD Club on Tuesday, October 10th in room 222 from 2:30-3:30 after school. If you want to compete, but can't make it to the first club meeting, email Ms. Dunsire or ask your Social Studies teacher. NHD Club will be held every Tuesday in room 222 from 2:30-3:30.
  •  Grab your Sonic Screwdrivers! Next Monday October 9th is the first Doctor Who Club meeting of the year! See you in room 214 after school.
  •  Next Thursday October 12th will be the first meeting of the GSA Club (the Gay- Straight Alliance). The GSA exists to promote social justice and create an inclusive community here at RMS. All are welcome, we meet in room 214 after school!
  •  Yearbook Staff: there is a yearbook meeting after school today in Room 142! Remember that we are meeting from 230-330 now. Parent Student Agreements are due at the meeting. If you can't make it, you need to let Ms. Savage know. See you then!
  •  Are you interested in having exciting adventures battling mythical creatures in a fantasy world? Then the RMS Dungeons and Dragons club might be for you! If you would like to join, or have questions about the game please come to an interest meeting after school this Friday, October 6th, in Ms. Morris’ room, room 153. Please email or see Ms. Morris if you have questions on how to get involved.
  •  Honor Society Members: Are you looking for volunteer hours? If so, the RMS PTSA needs your help! Monday October 9th after school we need help sorting emergency supplies for classrooms. If you are interested, please see the Honor Society PSL for more information about this service opportunity.
