Student Bulletin for October 3, 2017:

  • Are you interested in forming a club at RMS? Clubs are a great way to meet new people who share the same interests as you. Clubs are a fun, relaxed way to meet new people at school and to spend time doing something you love.  Did you know that the clubs at RMS are all student crated and run?  If you are interested in forming a club, pick up a club’s information packet at the Attendance Office window.  The packet will give you all the information you need to start your own club.  Still have questions? Stop by and see Ms. Konicki in room 225 or send her an email at kkonicki@lwsd.org.

  • The Grizzlies Read Bingo Challenge has begun! Pick up a new Bingo sheet each month from Ms. Metcalf or Mrs. Bachman in the library. Have them sign squares as you read and when you have a BINGO, turn in your sheet to be entered in a monthly drawing. If you complete one sheet per month from October through May, you will be entered to win a Kindle.

  • Attention current Honor Society members. Please be sure to sign and return your membership letter to Ms. Morris or the hours submission box in student services by Friday, Oct 6th. All membership dues should be paid at the ASB office. If you are applying for an officer position: quick info forms are due Friday Oct 6th and applications are due Friday, Oct 13th. Please see Ms. Morris with questions.

  • RMS second season Athletes now is the time to get signed up! If you are a 6th, 7th, or 8th grade girl or a 7th or 8th grade boy interested in participating in RMS Basketball, signups are now open. There is a list posted in the commons of all the students already signed up so you can check to see what is turned in, if you are not on the list you can add your name to the bottom. Signups will be taken down Wednesday at the end of the day so make sure you get signed up. All athletes need to be cleared with everything by October 19th. If you have any questions see either Mr. Mahendran in portable #1 or Ms. Poblete in the Attendance Office.

  • Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.” Hey Grizzlies! Have you seen the sticky notes around the mirrors in the bathroom? Check them out for a great confidence booster!

  • Tomorrow is International Walk to School Day! Arrive at school by foot, bicycle, bus, or carpool and get a prize! Students who are helping to distribute prizes, please try to be at school by 7:30 a.m.
