Grizzlies, we have a new school competition to design a flag for RMS. Participants that want to create a design for school flag will need to complete their design by Friday January 19. The winning image will be turned into a flag. Designs must be 24 inches by 18 inches. Please include a symbol that represents RMS, such as a Grizzly Bear or Bear Paw. Designs should also include our school colors, Red, White and Black. Digital designs need to be emailed to Mrs. Hall at shall@lwsd.org and paper designs can be turned in to room 221.
Are you looking to get caught up before end of the semester? Don’t forget that the after-school study lab is open Monday thru Thursday in our library after school. Check the flyers around school for hours and information or ask a teacher.
Redmond Middle is hosting our very own Snow Ball January 26th from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM. There will be an 80’s movie playing in Madrona Pod, tons of concessions, pizza, dancing to fun 80’s (and current) music, sports, and games. If our strange weather permits, outside will also be an option. For the first time at a social, the library will be open with breakout boxes. Our grizzly hats and socks will also be available for purchase. $20 for a hat and $15 for a pair of socks. We will be selling tickets the week leading up to the Snow Ball before school and during lunch. $2 for ASB members and $5 for non-ASB members. Exact change is appreciated. Don’t procrastinate and end up in the upside down, buy your ticket early.
Did you get a picture with Santa when he was here before break? If so, all of the pictures have been printed and might be hanging on the windows in the great hall. Feel free to take your picture…..and only YOUR picture if you wish. If you don’t see your picture, we still have more to hang up. You can also swing by room 225 to pick up your pictures at any time. Again, you may take your pictures from the window in the great hall, or stop by Ms. Konicki’s room, 225, to pick it up if you don’t see yours.
Hi Grizzlies! Have you heard about the amazing Secret Envelopes? There are 15 envelopes hidden in the school building, find one and earn a complement for yourself or a friend! Then re-hide the envelope inside the building! Happy Hunting!
