* Attention prospective Honor Society members: A reminder that all application materials are due to room 153 by Friday at 3pm. Late applications will not be accepted. Additionally, there was a mis-print on the application letters with conflicting information. The correct NJHS membership fee is $10. Apologies for any confusion. All membership fees must be paid online or via cash or check to Ms. Poblete at the attendance window before school or during lunches. Please direct any questions to Ms. Morris.

* Reminder to all girls’ basketball players who have yet to turn in your packets. They are due tomorrow! Please give them to a coach today if you have them.

* Attention! Attention! Next week is Read Across America! The library is celebrating in a number of ways. The display case will have jars of Swedish fish for the One Fish, Two Fish guessing contest! There is also a month-long Reading Bingo Madness contest. If you complete a Reading Bingo, you are entered in a drawing. The library will be giving away books—maybe your teacher has nominated you for a book prize!? Finally, you can vote for the Evergreen Teen Book Award on the KCLS site! Listen to the announcements for more information and see Ms. Metcalf or Mrs. Bachman to pick up entry forms for contests.

* At this time, symphonic and jazz band students are dismissed to the band room for their field trip.

Today we are talking about Boise State University where Ms. Gray received a bachelor’s in English Teaching and British Fiction Literature with an endorsement in Secondary Math. Ms. Gray’s most memorable academic experience was Graduation! Interesting fact about BSU, it is nationally ranked for its under graduate engineering program, internationally accredited business school and has Idaho’s largest undergraduate nursing program.
